Eli Lilly and Company was founded in 1876 and is based in Indianapolis, Indiana. The company develops, manufactures, and sells pharmaceutical products worldwide. Although best known for its popular antidepressant Prozac, the company develops medicines for a wide variety of ailments. Its top drugs include neurological therapies Zyprexa (schizophrenia and bipolar disorder) and Cymbalta (depression), cancer treatments Gemzar and Alimta, and endocrinology (hormone-related) products such as Humalog insulin and osteoporosis medication Evista. The company also makes cardiovascular therapies and anti-infective agents, as well as animal health products. Eli Lilly sells its products in some 135 countries.

Neuroscience products – to treat schizophrenia, manic episodes, and bipolar maintenance; depression and diabetic peripheral neuropathic pain; attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder in children, adolescents, and adults; depression, bulimia nervosa, and obsessive-compulsive disorders; and bipolar depression and treatment-resistant depression.
